John Hawker: Chairman
John has served as the Chair of Destiny since August 2008, with a mandate to bring about positive change within the organisation, increasing capacity and developing people. He has introduced formalised strategies, structures and processes, with his professional and 3rd Sector experience serving him well in this task. He is looking forward to leading Destiny through 2010.
Grace Kerr, Secretary
Grace has worked with DEStiny since July 2007 and has been a trustee since August 2007. She is the secretary with particular responsibility for governance, quality assurance and recruitment issues. She chairs the Professional Standards Task Group, which has worked together this year to review and put in place the policies required to formalise the organisation.
Anthony Stamp
Anthony joined DEStiny in 2004, initially on the panel to assess clients' business plans with a view to awarding grants towards set-up costs etc. Anthony then became a trustee with his great experience with disability issues and a knowledge of IT which both makes him invaluable to DEStiny.

James Harris: Technical Competencies.
James joined Destiny as a Mentor earlier this year; however due to the development of his career in I.T. Project Management, decided to volunteer for Destiny, utilising his skills around technical auditing and formalisation of processes to great effect. James is standing for election this year as a Trustee of Destiny.
Vaughan Clarke
Vaughan volunteers for Destiny as Book Keeper. He works closely with Barbara, Susan and Charlotte, supporting their efforts in the office. Vaughan is standing for election as the Treasurer of Destiny, having worked closely with the Trustees and the Accountants to ensure that our accounts are professionally presented, our financial status is clear and our management system is budget based.
